COMIC-CON
MODELING
As a model and comic book artist, I’m passionate about figure drawing (a cornerstone of comic art!). But in all the cons I’ve ever been to - from London to San Diego - I’ve never seen a figure drawing class offered. Criminal!
Let’s do something different and inspired for new and seasoned artists alike, by bringing minds and pens together for an engaging, supportive, and collaborative session.
It has been my experience that con sessions are particularly compelling for both artists and spectators. It becomes something of an art installation in and of itself, which generates this incredible energy for everyone involved. It’s quite magical, actually.
We can offer an all ages, all skill levels event that showcases the process and outcome of art in real time - which is great practice for seasoned pros and often an enlightening first step in a newbie artist's journey.
It’s a simple set up; model, chairs, artists, pens, paper. Nothing fancy. It would be easy to implement in any space, and scalable up or down, to accommodate a variable group dynamic.

I’ve been art modeling for nearly a decade and have had the pleasure of sitting for public classes, professional artists, universities and comic cons. I specialize in traditional draped/undraped sessions, as well as vintage pinup aesthetic, cosplay, and comic reference.
We have the opportunity to really give back to the creators and fans of comics by providing this type of event, and it would be my pleasure to collaborate with you to make it happen.
